A junior chess tournament organised by Essex Junior Chess Association, part of the Essex Grand Prix and a LJCC qualifying event. 6 rounds of Rapidplay using a Swiss system of pairings and with a time control of, for the U8, U10 & U12, all moves to be made in 30 minutes, while in the U18 sections it is 25+5.
